Veterans Mobile Outreach Vehicle Ribbion Cutting

The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the New Mexico Veterans Memorial Park, 1100 Louisiana Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, to celebrate the launch of its new Veterans Mobile Unit.

The Mobile Unit expands access to Veteran benefits and services by bringing claims assistance, benefits counseling, and outreach directly to Veterans where they live and gather, particularly in rural New Mexico communities.

The unit is fully self-sufficient and staffed by accredited Veteran Service Officers, enabling state and federal benefits claim services to be delivered efficiently across the state.

The public is invited to attend and help mark this important step forward in improving access and opportunity for New Mexico’s Veterans and their families.
