Registration is now open for the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services Women Veterans’ Conference 2025 on Saturday, June 14th!
This year’s conference theme, “Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future”, will bring together women veterans, community leaders, and advocates for a day of empowerment, connection, and collaboration. Let’s honor your service, share your stories, and forge a brighter future together.
This will be a day dedicated to educating and empowering women Veterans in New Mexico. Join us for a day filled with enlightening workshops, inspiring speakers,
crucial health care information, VA programs, federal and state benefits, and connections to other resources dedicated to helping women Veterans.
State Benefits personnel will be ready to assist eligible Veterans and unmarried widows/widowers applying for property tax waivers, exemptions, and park passes. Our Certified Veterans Service Officers will be on-site to assist with VA benefits claims and help with questions regarding VA healthcare eligibility and enrollment, disability compensation, and state benefits assistance.
Documents needed to verify eligibility:
• A copy of DD-214, NA 13038, NOAA Form 56-16, or PHS form 1867
• VA Award Letter and any other VA correspondence to claim benefits.
• NM Driver’s License, voter registration card, or the most recent NM Personal Income Tax Return.
