Claim your Property Tax Exemption and Benefits!

The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) will be in Española on Thursday, May 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the New Mexico Tribal Veterans Symposium. Claim your property tax exemption and benefits at the Santa Clara Events Center, 460 North Riverside Dr., Española, NM 87532

State Benefits personnel will be ready to assist eligible Veterans and unmarried widows/widowers applying for property tax waivers, exemptions, and park passes.

Our Certified Veterans Service Officers will be on-site to assist with VA benefits claims and help with questions regarding VA healthcare eligibility and enrollment, disability compensation, and state benefits assistance.

Documents needed to verify eligibility:

• A copy of DD-214, NA 13038, NOAA Form 56-16, or PHS form 1867
• VA Award Letter and any other VA correspondence to claim benefits.
• NM Driver’s License, voter registration card, or the most recent NM Personal Income Tax Return.
