New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services Marine Corps 250th Birthday Ceremony

The 2025 Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony hosted by the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services is to commemorate the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. We will participate in the nationwide “50 State Cake-Cutting” initiative, coordinated by the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, to honor Marine Corps traditions and legacy. The ceremony will honor our serving Marines and our beloved Marine Corps veterans with the presentation of colors, the reading of the state proclamation, the Commandant’s official birthday message, guest speakers, and a cake-cutting ceremony to honor the Marine Corps Tradition.
