Cabinet in Your Community in Silver City, July 17th

The Silver City community has demonstrated incredible resilience in the face of the recent Trout and Buck fires. Now, let’s come together to support one another.

Connect with the administration of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and state agency leaders to learn how the state government can better support you and your community as we recover and move forward together.

Join us for our State Services Expo from 3 to 6:30 p.m., designed with your family’s needs and your community’s recovery in mind.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Emergency assistance and recovery resources for fire-affected residents
  • Assistance for Veterans applying for state and VA benefits
  • Information on free childcare programs
  • Access to employment resources and state job openings
  • Pathways to free college and adult education opportunities
  • On-site Motor Vehicle Division services and tax help
  • Options to purchase hunting and fishing licenses
  • Support for seniors and caregivers
  • Assistance with enrolling in Medicaid, food benefits, and energy support

And so much more!

NMDVS State Benefits personnel will be on-site during the State Services Expo to assist eligible Veterans and unmarried widows/widowers applying for property tax waivers, exemptions, and park passes.
