Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee Meeting

The Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee (MVAC) is a joint interim legislative body that meets year-round to focus on issues impacting service members, Veterans, and their families across the state.

MVAC brings together lawmakers from both the New Mexico House and Senate. Its mission: to gather testimony, assess Veteran and military needs, and recommend legislation and policy improvements to support those who served.

Its next meeting is set for tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15, starting at 10:00 am at the UNM Student Support and Services Center, 1155 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, and will include a presentation and update from the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services Cabinet Secretary, Jamison Herrera.
